Job Description : 

Medical TECHNOLOGISTS (MULTIPLE OPENINGS)

Canonsburg General Hospital seeks Medical Technologists (Multiple Openings) to work at Canonsburg General Hospital in Canonsburg, PA, and perform complex medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Duties include, among others: (i) performing routine and complex procedures using established criteria to provide quality clinical information; (ii) verifying analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity and linearity for clinical tests; and (iii) operating, calibrating, checking and maintaining laboratory instrumentation.

Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Medical Technology or a directly related field. 

Must also be able to work independently on afternoon and night shifts as well as possess an ICHP VisaScreen Certificate, if applicable.

Must also have American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Board Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist.
