The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Cardiac Surgery Division is recruiting a Cardiac Surgeon to join our team serving Erie, Pennsylvania. This is a unique opportunity to join the award winning AHN Cardiothoracic Surgical team. Saint Vincent Hospital offers treatments including cardiac catheterization, cardiac surgery, electrophysiology, non-invasive testing services, TAVR, Watchman and cardiac rehab. Join a regional leader in cardiac care for the past 150 years.
Highlights:
- 2 cardiac surgeons and 3 dedicated APP’s
- Practice full spectrum cardiac surgery including but not limited to CABG, aortic & mitral valve replacement, thoracotomy, pleurodesis and TAVR.
- Hybrid OR with easy access to procedural time
- 3 total robots, 2 of which are Divinci XI
- Contribute to ongoing development of a MitraClip program
- Well respected cardiology practice consisting of Non-Invasive Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and EP
Job Qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience and well versed in all facets of cardiac surgery
- Completion of ACGME approved Cardiothoracic Surgical Integrated Residency or Fellowship
- Must have demonstrated examples of exceptional communication skills, teamwork, program development, leadership, and mentorship.
- American Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
