AHN Administrative Fellowship

Our two-year executive training program is designed to provide fellows with broad exposure to our 14-hospital network and cultivate future leaders for long-term growth and success at AHN. Get dedicated mentorship and guidance from senior leaders as you plan and implement initiatives, conduct research and analysis, and recommend solutions during rotations across the network.

What to expect

What does a rotation look like?

Mentorship and networking

  • Extensive time spent with your cohort, preceptor, and leaders to provide feedback and coaching
  • Monthly meeting with designated program leader who will support you throughout the program
  • Opportunities to network with leaders across the Highmark Health enterprise

Professional development

  • Senior Leader Speaker Series provides opportunity for small group learning from Highmark and AHN executives
  • Regular professional development sessions with AHN's Leadership Center of Excellence
  • Protected time to attend ACHE Congress each year of the fellowship

How to apply

AHN's Administrative Fellowship is for graduates of MHA, MHSA, MBA, or MPH programs. Other relevant master's degrees will be considered.

Applications for the next cohort will be accepted starting in June 2026.
