Fellows are part of an enterprise team that totals 44,000 team members dedicated to reinventing health.
Highmark Health companies cover a diverse spectrum of essential health-related needs, including health insurance, health care delivery, population health management, dental solutions, reinsurance, and innovative health-tech.
Fellows demonstrate our organization's Core Behaviors in all aspects of their work and professional interactions as they strive to create remarkable health experiences and contribute to a world where everyone embraces health.
Fellows consistently prioritize the needs and experiences of patients and members in all decision-making and operational improvements. This is evident in their communication and relationship management (active listening to customer feedback), business and financial acumen (optimizing operations for customer benefit), and knowledge of health care environment (advocating for equitable and accessible care).
Fellows actively seek to drive innovation and shape the future of health care. This is demonstrated through their leadership and professionalism (inspiring change, self-development), critical thinking and problem solving (generating new ideas to reinvent health), and knowledge of health care environment (understanding and leveraging technology for innovation).
Fellows foster collaborative relationships and demonstrate mutual respect. This is embedded in their communication and relationship management (building rapport, resolving conflict, teamwork), leadership and professionalism (ethical conduct, accountability), and business and financial acumen (collaborating on projects for shared organizational success).
Fellows are outcome-oriented, driving initiatives to achieve measurable results. This is reflected in their business and financial acumen (project management, data analysis), leadership and professionalism (accountability, follow-through), and critical thinking and problem solving (making sound decisions leading to tangible improvements in the health experience).
