SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Intern to join the Analytic Enablement team. This role focuses on exploring and prototyping cutting-edge applications of Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI within the healthcare payer domain. The intern will work alongside AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Product owners, and Business SME’s to transition novel AI ideas into practical solutions that drive efficiency and enhance analytic capabilities across the dept.. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply advanced AI concepts to real-world healthcare challenges.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree.
Currently enrolled in a master's or PhD program in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related quantitative field..
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1.Prototype Development: Design, build, and evaluate proof-of-concept applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and autonomous AI agents.
2. Research & Exploration: Research the latest advancements in Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI) and Generative AI techniques, assessing their applicability to core healthcare payer operations (e.g., utilization management, claims processing, member services).
3. Modeling & Experimentation: Conduct experiments in prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and embedding generation to optimize LLM performance and minimize 'hallucination' for healthcare-specific data.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data science, engineering, and business subject matter experts to gather requirements, understand data structures, and ensure prototypes align with business value.
5. Documentation & Presentation: Clearly document methodology, code, and results. Present findings and recommendations to the Analytic Enablement leadership team and technical peers.
