This position is Hybrid and requires mandatory on-site days Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
GENERAL OVERVIEW:
This job functions as the administrative counterpart to the senior management working collaboratively to improve and maintain the highest educational and training experiences in the Institute, meet all regulatory standards, and manage all invested resources. In short, the incumbent is the administrative representative, for the Institute’s educational/training enterprise.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directly supervise and lead all staff for student, residency and fellowship programs. Advise Departmental and Administrative leadership in all matters of hiring and managing educational program staff. (50%)
- Coordinate with the institutional GME and local Dean’s offices to maintain and implement policies that ensure efficient operations and compliance with all accreditation and organizational requirements. (10%)
- Work directly with educational and administrative leadership to create and promote opportunities for staff’s skill and career development Work to ensure the healthiest working/learning environment possible for every learner who enters the training programs. (10%)
- Coordinate with administrative leadership including Administrative Director, Program leadership, Chair and the finance committee to determine the total departmental education budget and identify funding sources. Oversee the Residency and Student Clerkship educational budgets. Oversee and assist fellowship staff and program directors in creating and managing fellowship budgets. (20%)
- Advise the Program Directors and Chair in distribution of staff support of the various education programs to ensure that all education programs are well supported. (10%)
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare related field or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree
- 1 year of budget development and management
- 1 year in an analytical role
- 1 year in a managerial role
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
Preferred
- Work in academic health care setting including understanding of accreditation requirements
- Work with with education program design, development, implementation, and evaluation
