GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Eligible Sign on Bonus details for qualified candidates:
$1,000 (after 90 days of continuous employment)
Under the direction of the Director Support Services, coordinates and directs the daily work activities of the support services associates, materials management associates, mail associates, transport associates and linen services associates. Transports patients and materials throughout the facility in a safe, efficient manner. Maintains hand washing per hospital protocol. Establishes priorities, creates staffing schedules, maintains and issues pagers, monitors work flow of the department. Ensures the WPAHS values are met.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directs daily work assignments of department support service associates, maintains KRONOS and monitors work outcomes. (15%)
- Performs necessary in-services and prepares and reconciles invoices for processing and manager approval. (15%)
- Sets up new pagers, tracks pagers, logs all pagers. (15%)
- Maintains equipment & materials/records/products throughout the facility in a timely manner, including policies & procedures. (15%)
- Utilizes TDSS Dispatch Software program using proper protocol when filling in for dispatchers. (15%)
- Contributes to hospital and department goals. Identifies fiscal opportunities to stay within or under budget. (5%)
- Logs daily Key Volume Indicators of daily work in the Integrated Management System (budget tracking system). (15%)
- Performs selected patient care activities. Performs other duties as assigned or required. (5%)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
- 4 years as a Support Services Associate
