GENERAL OVERVIEW:
This job works with the School of Nursing administration, admissions and financial aid teams on processes required for enrollment, transfer of credit, tuition charges, payments and billing of student accounts, as well as reporting of enrollment status changes.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Disburses aid and posts payments with appropriate internal and external communication to ensure movement of cash to appropriate accounts and student refunds.
- Bills, collects, posts and follows up on term-by-term tuition and monthly loans and posts withdrawal to tuition accounts.
- Completes review of incoming Official Transcripts for Transfer of Credit (TOC) and update the School of Nursing transcript in Campus database with appropriate transfer courses.
- Reports to external billing agents and reviews monthly reports including Nursing Student Loan (NSL) as appropriate.
- Imports course schedules into campus database and registers students for courses as appropriate.
- Collaborates with affiliate colleges and/or universities regarding transfer credit and enrollment.
- Prepares 1098T's
- Performs continuous student outreach for missing official transcripts necessary for admissions file completion and financial aid review.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
- 3 years in an academic admissions relation position in Higher Education
- 1 year in Accounting
Preferred
- Associate's Degree
- Experience with Campus Based System Operations
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
