JOB SUMMARY
This job serves as the sales team's clinical expert, providing high-level support and insights for strategic clients, aligning enterprise and client-level clinical strategies, and driving clinical buy-in to achieve sales objectives.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Strategic Clinical Engagements: Spearhead clinical presentations and discussions with strategic clients, brokers, and prospects, serving as a clinical subject matter expert (SME) and trusted advisor. Provide a value proposition that demonstrates clinical and financial value of the company's products and services.
Contribute to Strategic Planning & Process Improvement: Actively participate in departmental strategic planning, goal setting, and initiative coordination. Lead process improvement projects annually to optimize clinical sales effectiveness and efficiency. Drive Executive-level clinical buy-In. Develop and deliver compelling clinical narratives designed to influence senior-level decision-makers at client organizations, securing commitment to proposed solutions.
Provide Senior Level Clinical Sales Support: Collaborate with Sales to develop and execute data-driven clinical intervention plans tailored to specific client needs. Deliver strategic sales insights, and partner with account teams to close complex deals. Translate Enterprise clinical strategy. Act as a crucial link between enterprise-level clinical strategies and client-specific needs, ensuring alignment and maximizing the impact of clinical initiatives. Effectively articulate how enterprise strategy supports client objectives.
Foster Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external partners, including sales, product, provider, consulting firms, and third-party vendors, to drive collaborative solutions and enhance service delivery. Bridge internal and external clinical insights by translating client feedback and market trends into actionable insights for internal product development, clinical strategy, and sales enablement, influencing the overall clinical direction of the organization. Provide strategic focus on future clinical solution development.
Champion Data-Driven Outcomes & Value Communication: Collaborate with Clinical Strategy Analysts to translate complex clinical data into compelling, client-facing reports that demonstrate the value and impact of clinical interventions. Effectively communicate results to both clinical and business stakeholders.
Orchestrate Complex Clinical Implementations: Oversee the post-sale implementation of clinical programs, ensuring seamless integration and optimal client outcomes. Coordinate with senior-level executives at client organizations and external vendors to achieve strategic goals.
Act as a Central Clinical Resource: Serve as the primary point of contact for complex clinical inquiries, providing expert guidance and support to internal teams, sales, and clients. Contribute clinical expertise to RFP/RFI responses.

SKILLS
Deep Clincal Expertise -extensive knowledge of clinical, quality, care, utilization, high-cost claim, and population health management. Must be a recognized subject matter expert (SME).
Clinical Program Knowledge: A strong understanding of various clinical intervention programs, their effectiveness, and implementation strategies.
Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of healthcare industry trends, market dynamics, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.
Data Analysis & Interpretation: Ability to analyze complex clinical data, identify trends, and translate them into actionable insights and compelling narratives.
Consultative Selling: Ability to understand client needs, identify pain points, and develop tailored solutions that address their specific challenges.
Financial Acumen: Understanding of healthcare finance, ROI, and the ability to articulate the financial value of clinical interventions.
Executive Presentation Skills: Exceptional presentation and communication skills to effectively present clinical information to senior-level executives and other stakeholders.

Pay Range Minimum:
$92,300.00Pay Range Maximum:
$172,500.00Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
