Job Description : 

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Vascular Surgery Division is recruiting a Vascular Surgeon to join our team serving the greater Pittsburgh area. This is a unique opportunity to join the award winning AHN Cardiovascular Institute, which includes a comprehensive panel of physicians. This practice is located at Allegheny General Hospital and provides full access to state-of-the-art hybrid rooms. It also offers training of AHN vascular surgery residents, access to clinical research and significant opportunity for academic growth.

Job Requirements/Overview

  • Excellence in the entire spectrum of vascular surgery, including thoracic and abdominal aneurysms, carotid artery disease, dialysis access, peripheral vascular disease, and venous disease
  • Develop a rapidly growing vascular program and partner with colleagues at neighboring hospitals
  • The vascular surgeons are well supported by dedicated physician extenders and office nurses
  • The vascular surgery faculty trains “0+5” integrated residents

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited medical school with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Completion of an accredited fellowship in Vascular Surgery
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
  • Pennsylvania Licensure in good standing upon date of hire; current unrestricted DEA certificate
