JOB SUMMARY
This job manages the team within MX / Tonic that designs, codes, and traffics digital advertising, including but not limited to display, social, SMS, email, and emerging technologies. This inspirational leader has a strong background in digital design and a deep understanding of development (HTML, CSS) to implement advanced features such as video, audio, and other interactive elements. Interfaces with key business stakeholders and senior leadership regularly to solve complex business problems with effective digital content solutions. The incumbent has a keen eye for detail and a passion for efficiency, while driving world-class creative that encourages viewers to interact and engage with the brand.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
- Lead, influence, and champion best processes and behaviors for the Digital Marketing channel. Monitor and uphold consistency, as well as brand integrity, across digital design and development for all business units. Develop and document enterprise knowledge in the form of technical articles, and best practices as needed.
- Use software development and user experience principles to be the practical and inspirational leader of a team that executes unique design and interactive digital solutions that create a world everyone embraces health & engages our targeted personas.
- Challenge the status quo in analyzing existing processes. Implement innovative processes and technology that accelerates business impact and efficiency.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize the learning experience and consumption of related technologies, content/messages through relevant or innovative tactics and tools (A/B Testing, User Testing, etc.)
- Designs original content and components based on brand standards, Adobe Creative Suite.
- Other duties as assigned or requested.
EXPERIENCE
Required
- 5 years in Front-end development
- 5 years in Digital Ad building
- 5 years in Rich Media advertising skills trafficked in Google Advertising Programmatic Platforms (Studio, Search Ads, Analytics, Display & Video 360)
- 5 years in HTML5/CSS/JavaScript/JSON to execute dynamic, changing data channels on the front end
- 5 years in Leadership / Management
Preferred
- 7 years in Rich Media advertising skills trafficked in Google Advertising Programmatic Platforms (Studio, Search Ads, Analytics, Display & Video 360)
- 5 years of Prior Agency experience

- Proven track record of defining project requirements and delivering successful projects on schedule, with cross-functional teams

EDUCATION
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Communication Design, Digital Design, or related field OR 4+ years of management experience at a top brand or agency

Pay Range Minimum:
$92,300.00Pay Range Maximum:
$170,800.00Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
