This role is dedicated to manage the various pipeline programs that AHN nursing will be implementing.  The pipeline work is designed to foster interest and recruitment for AHN Nursing and Nursing Support roles across the network. The Director will be primarily responsible for development of existing and future AHN Nursing Pipeline programs with the intent to attract undergraduate nurses across the AHN footprint and beyond to commit to AHN nursing upon graduation. As a member of the executive nursing team, they will also be responsible for consistent communication with nursing leadership and evaluation of all existing and current pipeline programs. 


  • Develop existing and future AHN Nursing Pipeline programs with the intent to attract undergraduate nurses across the AHN footprint and beyond to commit to AHN nursing upon graduation. (40%)
  • Partner with AHN nurse leaders (CNOs, Directors, Education) to ensure program validity and development as needed. (20%)
  • Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.  Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority. (15%)
  • Expand, cultivate, and maintain collaboration relationships with academic partners in current footprint and beyond relative to the AHN Nursing Pipeline programs offered. (10%)
  • Conducts regular assessment of program to support expansion and/or refinement of program with a global (AHN) and a local (specific facility) approach and execution. (5%)
  • Collaborate with various internal partners to maintain network alignment on pipeline strategies. (5%)
  • Responsible for the regular assessment of the pipeline program(s) to ensure timelines are met. (5%)
  • Other duties as assigned 



  • 5 years of experience in Project Management
  • 1 year of experience in Leadership
  • Registered Nurse (RN) State of Pennsylvania Board of Nursing


  • Bachelor's in nursing
  • Masters in nursing OR Business
