JOB SUMMARY

This job performs Business Systems testing and analysis tasks on business system implementation, enhancements and change requests. The incumbent may be responsible for one, or more of the following; develop test scripts and cases, perform usability testing to ensure compliance / quality with system design and business/regulatory requirements, documentation of results, and discuss findings with management team. Performs usability testing to ensure compliance and quality with system design and business/regulatory requirements. Documents and communicates findings to team members, senior analysts and management. Creates and/or runs basic system reports that extract data for use in the analyses. Performs data analysis, to determine business issues, trends, and identify risks / issues with key processes or requirements. Participates in problem solving sessions to correct identified issues and/or concerns. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct one or more of the following: develop, implement, maintain and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and test cases. Identify, document and communicate findings of UAT.
  • Create and/or run basic system reports that extract data for use in the analyses.  
  • Perform data analysis, to determine business issues, trends, and identify risks / issues with key processes or requirements.
  • Participate in problem solving sessions to correct identified issues and/or concerns. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Required

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management or Information Technology

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 1 year in IT Testing, Quality and Systems Analysis

Preferred

  • 1 year in a Call Center environment
  • 1 year with Claims Administration
  • 1 year with Enrollment
  • 1 year with Billing
  • 1 year in Information Systems

Pay Range Minimum:

$50,200.00

Pay Range Maximum:

$90,300.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations.  The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
