Job Description :
HM Health Solutions Inc. d/b/a enGen, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA has a work-at-home Senior Release Manager position (with the ability to telecommute with appropriate telecommuting systems) responsible for serving as a liaison between business units to guarantee timely delivery of software products or updates as well as overseeing the environments required for development and testing of each release. Specific duties include: (i) overseeing the release process end-to-end, from planning of content to production; (ii) documenting impacts across application sub-systems and generating release notes resulting from alterations to production environments; (iii) designing and analyzing implementation plans for releases and release-level change requested based on solution architecture documentation and change request records; and (iv) composing and maintaining written procedures for Release Management in accordance with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or directly related field plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position.
Must have five (5) years of experience (can be concurrent) with each of the following: (i) release management, environment management, or change management; (ii) audit compliance; (iii) risk analysis, management, and mitigation; and (iv) overseeing or reviewing technical documentation, including implementation plans and audit reviews.
Must also have any experience with or knowledge of: (i) development and analysis of software release packages, including software components, system integration, technical architecture, and underlying infrastructure; (ii) delivering new functionality versus preservation of integrity of existing services; (iii) implementing software release packages across multiple environments and applying Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) industry standards; (iv) open-source software development, component integration, and testing methodologies for quality assurance; and (v) surveying system-based and service-based impacts to live and test environments.
