Allegheny Health Network is seeking a highly-skilled Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician to join our team at AHN Saint Vincent in Erie, PA!

Job Qualifications

  • Provide all of the inpatient and outpatient services as related to the Physician's area of responsibility as set forth herein and, specifically, below:
  • Outpatient Offices (e.g., follow-up patients, post-discharge and new patient evaluations).
  • Inpatient Attending and/or Consulting at AHN Saint Vincent Hospital
  • Perform special procedures including but not limited to, chemical and anesthetic neurolysis and botulinum toxin injections for management of spasticity and electromyography as needed in the performance of such procedures.
  • Conduct Staff Conferences and provide medical leadership for interdisciplinary team members (nursing, occupational, physical, recreational therapy, speech pathology, social services, etc.), as needed
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage musculoskeletal injuries
  • Treat all patients in conformity with accepted professional standards of care and strive to provide a high degree of patient satisfaction;
  • Take part in the "on call" rotation of ChoiceCare Physicians, consistent with other physicians, as needed
  • Physician shall provide medical administration in connection with the in-patient rehabilitation operations of AHN
  • Provide medical oversight of the Acute care therapies (PT, OT, SLP) at AHN Saint Vincent Hospital
  • PhD/MD Graduate of accredited medical school with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Completion of accredited residency and fellowship if required by specialty
  • Current PA MD licensure in good standing; current unrestricted DEA certificate
