Job Description :
This full time position will work M-F daytime hours.
In collaboration with the Director of Care Management, facilitates and coordinates the provision of clinical social work/pastoral care services provided to patients and families.
- Provides direct supervision of professional social work practice/pastoral care services. Clinical coordination of social work services to patients and families. (20%)
- Develops and maintains professional social work standards and requirements both in the departments and within the hospital committees. (10%)
- Provides professional social work services to patients and families in the acute healthcare setting. (50%)
- Supervises staff, evaluates work, and recommends and implements approved disciplinary action. (10%)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. (10%)
- Master's Degree in Social Work from school of Social Work
- LSW or LSW eligible in State of Pennsylvania
- Five years’ experience in social work in an acute healthcare setting
- Supervisory experience
