Job Description : 


Assists program director with strategic planning for growth, management, coordination, evaluation of staff, marketing, daily operations and community relations for the Departments of Sports Performance and Orthopaedics.


  • Hands on with client care/daily ops for Sports Medicine/Performance/PT sites (60%)

  • Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.  Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority. Supervises activities/performance of department staff and others.  Enhances performance of self and others and participates in developmental activities.  (25%)

  • Help create work schedule for facility and off-site coverage (5%)

  • Help with marketing initiatives and community relations (5%)

  • Data entry, record keeping. (5%)

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required



  • Bachelor's Degree in an Exercise Related Science.


  • Four years of relevant, progressive experience



  • 5 years of relevant experience




  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) - National Strength and Conditioning Association


  • Any one or more of the following certifications (USA-W, DPT, LMT)
