Job Description :
Performs nuclear medicine imaging and patient services as per protocols and/or as directed by physicians. Mentors and trains junior staff. Serves as physician liaison.
- Oversees daily operations and manages non-labor expenses and activities for the department; maintains a quality assurance program according to regulations established by regulatory bodies.
Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately per established protocols. Prepares for and assists physician while performing nuclear medicine imaging.
Implements safety and patient safety standards and provides technical expertise for development of protocols
Completes all required documentation for procedures e.g., regulatory, billing protocol and image distribution.
Performs other duties as assigned.
- 3 years nuclear medicine experience
- CPR Certification
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Associate's degree in healthcare
