Job Description :

JOB SUMMARY

This job is part of the Product and Health Experience team and will be champion for design-driven and human-centered methods. Our Design Organization exists to gain a deep understanding of the human behaviors, challenges, and needs for those providing, supporting, and receiving care. We use that understanding to lead cross-functional, participatory co-design that generates future-looking, transformative strategies, concepts, experiences, tools, delivery models and care paths. This role will propel our Experience Strategy and Research + Design Practice forward by introducing and enhancing ways of working, portfolio governance and DesignOps at scale.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity and seek to foster alignment and collaboration across design, business, and portfolio teams. They will do so by translating goals, defining timelines, seeking feedback, and articulating insights into actions that push delivery of experience and solution designs forward. Will enable our teams to design the right experiences and products for our customers and clinicians. Candidate will have experience driving and participating in end-to-end human-centered programs and projects, including experience with discovery, problem framing, articulating insights and opportunity areas, concept development and prototyping.

This job will be an active influencer, collaborator, and co-creator with multidisciplinary, matrixed teams. They’ll need to partner with those teams to plan and orchestrate the team's path to key deliverables, but also actively apply creative thinking and lead design methods that move the Experience Strategy, Research + Design Practice portfolio delivery forward. The ideal candidate will help create an environment and culture where design teams can show up at their best and thrive. Will uphold commitments to timing and quality, while keeping track of all the moving parts necessary to drive experience and solution delivery.

The candidate will also have a key role in developing relationships and facilitating collaborative sessions and reviews with stakeholders to ensure solution designs are properly vetted and accepted on the path to solution pilots. This job defines, plans, and delivers frameworks to deliver complex experiences and solutions that require cross-functional collaboration and management of inter-dependencies between a group of projects, teams, and/or related activities within the constraint of scope, quality, time, and budget.

This individual will help design intake and governance processes for Experience Strategy and Experience Research + Design Practice. Manage project timeline development in partnership with all strategists and effectively manage project cadence and throughput. Will help oversee portfolio scheduling, scheduling, resourcing, capacity planning and talent onboarding while working with Directors to groom overall portfolio and seek to gain alignment on priorities. Partner with Experience Strategy and Research + Design practice to lead discovery, design and development of processes and tools that will elevate and ensure design craft and to help practice focus on design and research efforts and work top of license. Manages portfolio budgets and relationships with key vendors. This candidate will be a key partner in helping the Experience Strategy and Research + Design Practice operate at scale.
