JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Employer Brand specialist  is responsible for the planning and delivery of branding, creative and marketing solutions to help attract top talent to Highmark Health and its subsidiaries.  A natural storyteller, the specialist is comfortable with experimentation and has a passion for bringing our culture to life through new and innovative ways. In tight partnership with the Brand Manager, the Brand Specialist will grow our content library with photography, videos, infographics and recruitment marketing collateral that resonates with jobseekers and passive audiences across digital and offline channels.

 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and executes enterprise employer brand initiatives and recruitment marketing content.  Scope includes managing and executing creative reviews, content calendars, brand health analysis and more.
  • Serves as the analytical lead for all recruitment marketing and EB channels, measuring against key metrics for the careers site, Glassdoor, Indeed, owned social channels and more.  Leverages data and insights to inform and optimize content marketing strategies.
  • Creates data-driven content strategies to maximize storytelling across brands and career paths.  Comfortable leveraging agencies to create content and producing your own across multiple channels.
  • Conduct competitive employer brand audit to better position Highmark Health as an employer of choice.
  • Measures content drives candidate conversion and adjusts strategies accordingly.
  •  Updates brand health report monthly and delivers presentations to leadership on performance.
  • Develops marketing toolkits or playbooks to help recruiting teams and stakeholders in their marketing efforts.
  • Collaborates on development and implementation of student recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.


QUALIFICATIONS   

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, marketing Communications, Human Resources, or related field, or 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years of Marketing, brand management or advertising experience
     

Preferred

  • 3 yeas of Developing multi-channel campaigns from strategy to execution
  • 3 years of Social media community management role

Skills

  • Expert in employer brand and social media/digital industry trends
  • Strong analytical and project organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Creative: can think beyond traditional methods, an idea generator
  • Execution focused: goal oriented; satisfaction from doing, achieving and excelling
  • Savvy in digital marketing and social media
  • High degree of independence, self-motivation and commitment to consistent follow through for deadlines, budgets and execution.
  • Natural relationship builder with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and use social data to affect change and determine ROI.
