JOB SUMMARY

This position supports HM Document Solutions Business/Manufacturing Operations with the analytical aspects of a project life cycle, including capability analysis with cross-team and multi-application dependencies within the scope of a project. Will require significant judgement and discretion to collaborate with cross functional teams to understand manufacturing and technical capabilities, customer needs and adherence to security and regulatory requirements.

Will gather project specifications, create business cases, and cost sheet analysis, translate complex high-level operational and business requests into detailed requirements for new capabilities and/or enhancements to existing capabilities, create/execute test cases, verify delivery of requirements  and ensure quality delivery. Also responsible for identification, documentation, and resolution of risks, defects and issues, providing root cause analysis and corrective action plans. Resolution of complex issues may involve multiple systems while understanding potential regulatory risk exposure, customer service and financial impacts.

Use HM Document Solutions  functional and organizational knowledge to lead project teams and actively participate as subject matter expert (SME) on moderately complex cross functional projects.

Requires an understanding of HM Document Solutions functional capability and end-to-end processes to identify impact and potential integration issues of new and/or enhanced applications and/or processes across multiple/diverse technical systems and manufacturing equipment

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take a lead role with Project Sponsors, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Capability Managers, and other team members to capture capability, customer needs and drive quality business solutions on complex requests and issues.
  • Create and maintain deliverables such as business vision, impact analysis, requirements, test plan, and test schedule.
  • Participate in the full project management life cycle by actively taking a lead role on project teams in various roles, including, but not limited to, Business Technical Analyst, Capability Manager, or Tester, based upon experience and need.
  • Provide required business and/or subject matter expertise for both project and production related activities on complex issues, including new strategic programs or initiatives impacting current and existing systems and/or manufacturing equipment.
  • Ensure compliance for required standards and all necessary approvals have been obtained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Interface with the various impacted areas of Information Technology, Business/Manufacturing Operations, Client Support, Vendor Support and other project teams to drive value, return on investments and innovative solutions. This includes providing alternative solutions, including vendor solution acquisitions, with maximum benefits while reducing cost (e.g. cost benefit analysis, pros/cons of solutions).
  • Take lead role in supporting various aspects of requirements and testing (e.g. project plan management,  documentation, defect management, etc.) to ensure minimal production defects are realized and analysis of the results map back to potential impacts. 
  • Communicate in an exemplary manner with all project participants, including assisting with or conducting requirement walkthroughs and sprint reviews, reporting project status, enabling vendor solutions and providing accurate and concise documentation.
  • Provide thoughtful leadership and strategic direction in product manufacturing and technology solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Systems, or related field
