JOB SUMMARY

We are making a seismic shift away from trying to fix health care, to creating a new model of health that is dynamic, perpetual and focused on individuals and their health journey.  We call it Living Health. Living Health is built on providers and payers “care and coverage” working together in service of customers and clinicians. The model has two parts:  Solutions - Better designed answers for customer and clinician problems that improve customer engagement, clinician engagement, health outcomes, and affordability; and Partnerships – networks of partners organized to reduce cost and deliver solutions. The Solution Insights & Validation Studies team is responsible for designing and executing test & learn pilots as well as longer-term measurement and evaluation plans for the Living Health portfolio of customer and clinician solutions. The Senior Project Manager role within  the team supports project and portfolio management, process improvement, quality assurance, and works with leadership to help set the operational focus and drive consistent and effective performance via the operating model.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor, evaluate and report on Clinical Solutions Validation Program status inclusive of scope, schedule, budget and alignment to Program and strategic goals. Help establish operational focus (prioritization, operating model, capacity planning), of Clinical solutions validation and transformation team. Support Clinical Solutions Validation leadership on Annual Strategic Planning process, program performance metrics, goal alignment to all portfolio management processes and standards. 
  • Support and contribute to the improvement of project management methods and practices with the goal of developing & refining the Clinical Solutions Validation operations model in close collaboration with the leaders of each Clinical Solutions Validation function (Business Development, Clinical Validation Studies and Clinical Solutions Experience) to consistently meet customer demand, product innovations, and anticipated growth needs.  
  • Support the development of documentation including project artifacts, reporting, and other project needs of study teams, as well leading the implementation of any  required project management systems or tools needed to support the Clinical Solutions Validation program process. 
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in order to maintain process control and achieve required production and capacity targets.
  • Ensure stage-gate readiness and implement quality assurance process across all Clinical Solutions Validation Program teams to ensure project quality, consistency within deliverables and supporting overall product and deliverable goals and customer satisfaction as well as required compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and present reports to the Clinical Solutions Validation leadership team on the project portfolio, sub-portfolio reporting & communications, progress, business impacts, new initiatives and strategies around the program(s). 
  • Anticipate potential negative trends, assess risks that might jeopardize successful achievement of the desired results of a program, develop risk mitigation strategies and tactics, implement risk mitigation plans and direct corrective actions when necessary to appropriate manager.

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare administration

  • Experience with project portfolio management (PPM)/oversight and application of process improvement and technology to address business challenges 
  • Perform quality controls and monitor production KPI’s
  • Examine financial data/statements and use them to improve profitability
  • Ability to build professional networks; knowledge of company's strategic direction and strengths and weaknesses; process improvement; understanding of health products
