Job Description : 

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This job provides technical support to internal and external users of IT Infrastructure (e.g. PC’s, servers, mainframes, etc.).  Answers questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status and downtime.  Interacts with various IT areas in order to restore service and/or identify problems.  Maintains a troubleshooting tracking log ensuring timely resolution of problems.  Resolves initial incident resolution or dispatches unresolved incidents to appropriate area or vendor.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the delivery and ongoing support of complex products/services, applications, network systems, and overall solutions in relationship to Genesys Cloud and related integrations (i.e. Epic software).
  • Takes a lead role in performing more complex tasks including, but not limited to, systems software upgrades, workstation setups, and server configurations.
  • Responsible for maintaining software and hardware inventories.
  • Takes a lead role in providing operational support and analysis for the organization’s information systems and peripheral equipment, such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices.
  • Requires complex recovery procedures, scheduling and backups, and monitors batch processes.
  • May mentor less experienced team members
  • Ensure compliance to required standards, procedures, guidelines and processes.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year implementing Genesys Cloud
  • 1 year implementing Genesys with other systems
  • 1 year in Information Technology
  • Proficient in basic and advanced networking for troubleshooting and for submitting requests when integrating new applications.  i.e. Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPN clients, NAT, SNAT understanding Virtual IP’s.

Preferred

  • Experience with Epic ECSA
  • Experience with Epic Ambulatory
  • Understanding SQL, database’s creating connection strings
