Job Description : 

West Penn Allegheny Health System, Inc. seeks a Developer Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing to work in Pittsburgh, PA, and provide application development services typically as a member of a project team or in an application support role. Will also analyze, design, code, test, and implement systematic solutions to meet customer requirements.

Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position.

Must also have any experience with or knowledge of: (i) gathering business requirements and system specifications from business operational owners; (ii) SQL Query Writing and tuning to maximize query performance and efficiency; (iii) SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and BIDS; (iv) troubleshooting and resolving processing issues related to software, hardware, and data and/or communication problems; (v) designing and developing/coding Business Intelligence (BI) Data Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL) packages and/or other SQL objects to build robust architecture to organize Data flow from heterogeneous/homogeneous source systems (clinical, revenue and others) into the Enterprise Data Warehouse and/or the Epic Caboodle Data Warehouse; (vi) designing Star, Snowflake, and more complex data warehouse data models using ER studio or similar tools; (vii) database optimization and tuning, normalization and data importing/exporting; (viii) peer code review to test functionality before production releases; and (ix) creating design and troubleshooting documents on a consistent basis

Must be able to work shifts between 6:30am and 7:00pm M-F as well as 8am-4:30pm Sat/Sun. Must also be able to work 24-hour coverage on a rotating shift basis.
