Job Description : 

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Contributes to quality customer service by providing assistance and information to patients, families, visitors, and staff and coordinating lobby traffic.  Assist with way finding, provide referrals and directions to hospital support services, provide local resource information, and ensure a safe, customer-focused environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Facilitates communication among patients, families, visitors, and staff.
  • Access and provide information such as patient room numbers, appointment locations and times, and hospital support services referral/directions. Access internet and provide local resource information such as driving directions, restaurants, shopping and amenities.
  • Coordinate lobby traffic flow, report maintenance and cleaning needs, and ensure a safe and customer-focused environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Good computer skills required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, neat and professional appearance, and calm/caring attitude are required.

Preferred

  • Prior work experience in a multi-tasking, customer service capacity.
  • Security and safety deployment training preferred.
