Job Description : 

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Provides a wide variety of secretarial, administrative and staff support services to the organizational unit.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs administrative support such as scheduling/coordinating meetings, activities, events and/or travel.
  • Performs secretarial duties to facilitate daily operations such as phone triage, filing, typing, faxing, and mail.
  • Effectively handles information, requests and questions while adhering to confidentiality guidelines.
  • Supports programs and/or processes specific to the operating unit served.
  • Serves as liaison with others, within and outside the company, regarding administrative and secretarial issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum

  • 2 years secretarial/administrative experience required.
  • Demonstrated competency in word processing, spreadsheets, database, e-mail, and Microsoft Windows/Office applications required

Preferred

  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • Experience in a healthcare/practice setting preferred.
