LEAD DECISION SUPPORT ANALYST

Highmark Health, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, has a work-at-home Lead Decision Support Analyst position (with the ability to telecommute with appropriate telecommuting systems; the remote worksite must be within commuting distance of Pittsburgh, PA for weekly trips to the corporate office) to be responsible for creating analyzable data structures through the extraction, transfer, and loading of data (data ETL) sets for relational databases.  Specific duties include: (i) performing statistical analysis of the data to determine if a statistically significant change has occurred due to the intervention being measured; and (ii) communicating these data analyses through verbal, written, and visual methods to a clinical audience.

Must have a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics, Health Informatics, Statistics, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in a related position.

Must have five (5) years of experience with: (i) data visualization; (ii) data communication; and (iii) data analysis.

Must have three (3) years of experience with: (i) data mining, modeling, and statistical analysis; and (ii) ETL (Extract Transform and Load).

Must have one (1) year of experience with predictive modelling.

Must have any experience: (i) modeling and visualizing of operational, financial, and economic data in healthcare; and (ii) performing forecasting, ROI analysis, and cost analysis.

Experience can be concurrent.
