Job Description : 

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Completes assigned projects in a timely and professional manner consistent with the established department standards; ensures that work performed always reflects the proper image and goals of the organization.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Functions as the primary projectionist for the Magovern Conference Center and for regional and national conferences located outside of Allegheny General Hospital. (50%)
  • Functions, when needed, in the role of videographer and all of its associated responsibilities. (5%)
  • Assists the Audiovisual Technician in routine equipment deliveries. (25%)
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of video teleconferencing throughout the System. (20%)
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • 2 years audiovisual experience
  • Portfolio demonstrating working knowledge of lighting, editing, and camera movement

Preferred

  • BA/BS Degree in visual arts field
  • Experience with sophisticated AV projection systems and AV equipment repair/troubleshooting
