MANAGER PHARMACY CLINICAL AND SPECIALTY INSIGHTS
Highmark Inc., headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, has a work-at-home Manager Pharmacy Clinical and Specialty Insights position (with the ability to telecommute with appropriate telecommuting systems; the remote worksite must be within commuting distance of Pittsburgh, PA for weekly trips to the corporate office) to be responsible for managing the pharmacy data analytics team comprised of data analytics engineers, data scientists, decision support analysts and business intelligence engineers. Will develop, implement, and oversee the strategic and analytic vision for managing Rx and specialty drug spend. Will also perform management responsibilities including but not limited to making hiring and termination decisions, and coaching and development.
Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in healthcare data analytics and reporting, business intelligence insights, or cost-savings and statistical modelling.
Must have five (5) years of experience with each of the following: (i) Python, R, or SAS data science tools; (ii) SQL; (iii) building dashboards, applications, and data visualization using R shiny, Python Dash, or Tableau; (iv) solving healthcare business, financial, and/or clinical problems, including using technologies and analytical methodologies, preparation of related recommendations, and presentations of findings to various levels of management and external parties; and (v) the application development lifecycle, advanced analytical methodologies, business intelligence and insights tools, and data infrastructure and overall system support.
Must have two (2) years of experience with Hadoop, Spark, Cronjob, bash, Shell script, and GIT.
Experience can be concurrent.
