GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This job manages integrated quality programs within the AHNCI that connects the programmatic goals of AHN, the mission of the AHN Cancer Institute and the division of Radiation Oncology.  Focusing on safety, patient experience, regulatory/accreditation standards of care, pay for value, policy/procedure and professional development and competency.            

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management and oversite of the Quality and Safety initiatives for the Division of Radiation Oncology. Manages all aspects of the divisions quality assurance program. Including, but not limited to data analytics, dashboard reporting, auditing, work group and project management.  (40%)
  • Implements patient experience initiatives in Radiation Oncology in connection with the Cancer Institute's overall direction. Coordinates and correlates Press Ganey data with process improvement. Leads committee for evaluating and maintaining patient experience. (20%)
  • Oversee active accreditation maintenance and engagement with accrediting bodies. Leads appropriate committees and activities associated with financial, regulatory, and compliance in the scope of quality management. (20%)
  • Continued professional development - Integrate the mechanics of quality management with staff education and engagement. (20%)
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years in Radiation Oncology
  • Radiation Therapy Certification and Registration (ARRT)
