JOB SUMMARY

This job is responsible for being the product manager and customer experience lead for a portfolio of analytic products.  The incumbent will be accountable for driving business value by prioritizing the analytic backlog, breaking down large analytic efforts into a manageable work plan, and translating complex analytics into simple, actionable recommendations for the business.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helps define the strategy and roadmap for each product
  • Manage the analytic backlog, both within each product and across all products
  • Design a customer experience strategy with success metrics tailored to each customer persona
  • Serve as the primary advocate for the customer within the analytics team
  • Translate business needs into a prioritized list of requirements for analysts
  • Empower analysts to do their best work by clearly articulating priorities on an ongoing basis
  • Optimize analytics adoption and usage to maximize customer value
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering/Operations Research or related field

Substitutions

  • 6 years relevant, progressive experience in lieu of degree

Preferred

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering/Operations Research or related field

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 5 years in Data analytics

To Include:

  • 3 years in a business facing or consultative analytics role
  • 1 year with data science and advanced analytics

Preferred

  • 1 year deploying advanced analytic models in a business setting
