This role is part of a team that is responsible for implementing change strategy for large-scale, enterprise transformation initiatives. They play a key role in the success of organizational change, which could include business processes, technologies, operating model, and organizational structures. Foster relationships with strategic internal partners responsible for influencing and/or cultivating the change management approach and/or delivery.  Primarily, this role executes on projects leveraging the Readiness & Adoption (R&A) methodology, tools, and data to develop the implementation plan that address change impacts. They support the growth of the change community of practice to be a partner in executing on change with consistency. They are experts for R&A content including marketing materials, communications, publications, etc.  

To be successful in this role, the incumbent develops and implements the R&A engagement plan – they leverage creative engagement techniques and reskilling approaches to ensure real adoption of the transformation vision. The engage with the implementation team including project leaders, project managers, and subject matter experts. They work seamlessly across multiple projects concurrently and gain exposure across multiple functions and businesses within the enterprise.  The incumbent builds relationships and networks with internal partners and collaborate on execution and governance. They establish/maintain best practices and standardized frameworks/tools. Lastly, they monitor, measure, and celebrate change successes within their projects. 


This role develops and executes on R&A engagement plans based on identified project needs. This role provides coaching on R&A methods with a focus on achieving outcomes and values.  Utilizes best practices while learning and growing with each project implemented. The incumbent focuses on people-related tasks, enabling teams to launch key initiatives successfully, adopts it widely and realize business value.   

  • Project Management :  Responsible for change delivery of large-scale transformation initiatives following the R&A methodology.  Requires developing and executing a detailed, comprehensive change plan to support the strategy and transformation vision.   

  • Project Engagement :  Leverage creative engagement techniques and reskilling approaches to ensure real adoption of the transformation vision.  Coach and/or lead change management work streams with a structured methodology / process. Measure performance and adoption against established success metrics. Assess impacts, manage resistance, identify risks & risk mitigation tactics.  Engage with employees at all levels of the organization.   Provide coaching and training to employees at all levels.  

  • Coaching :  serve as a thought leader, thought partner, and coach to leaders at all levels in the organization to support alignment and change delivery.  Coach change delivery partners on the R&A methodology to ensure one Highmark way of doing change. 

  • Workshops:  Partners to develop and facilitate ideation activities such as workshops and other methods to continuously spark employee engagement in our identification and adoption of new tools and capabilities.    

  • Process Improvement :  Regularly review content to ensure accuracy, alignment with brand standards and applicability to strategy/operations.  Update R&A materials and resources including best practices. 

  • Actively participate in and support the change community of practice.  

  • Other duties as assigned or requested. 




  • Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Behavior/Organizational Change Studies, Business Administration/Management, Human Resources Management or related field 


  • 6 years progressive and related experience in lieu of Bachelor degree 


  • Master's Degree in Organizational Behavior/Organizational Change Studies, Business Administration/Management or Human Resources Management 



  • 5 years of Change management consulting

  • 3 years of planning and deploying change in a large organization 

  • 3 years of Project management 

  • 3 years of Communications 


  • 1 year in Healthcare or related industry 

  • 1 year consulting experience
