The Allegheny Health Network seeks a Senior Analytics Developer to work in Pittsburgh, PA, to analyze, design, code, test, and implement systematic Business Intelligence solutions to meet customer requirements. Will provide general support to maintain applications that meet the service levels, system availability, performance, and quality levels required by their customers. Duties include analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and implementing application enhancements as well as providing general production support, meeting defined scope, target dates, and budgets with minimal or no defects; utilizing and participating in the full system development cycle; and collaborating with business analysts, partners, and IT team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
Must have seven (7) years of experience in a related position.
Must also have any experience with: (i) healthcare related IT experience with software applications, such as Epic, All Scripts, Invision, MediTech; (ii) SSIS, Informatica or similar tools;(iii) resolving processing issues related to software, hardware, and/or data communication problems; (iv) database optimization and tuning, normalization, backup/restore, and data importing/exporting; (v) SQL tuning to maximize query performance and efficiency; (vi) designing Star, Snowflake, and more complex data warehouse schemas for the data model using ER-win or similar tools; and (vii) designing SSIS packages to load the staging table data to production table.
Must be able to work shifts between 6:30am and 7:00pm M-F as well as 8am-4:30pm Sat/Sun. Must also be able to work 24-hour coverage on a rotating shift basis.
